What you’ll do at Prometheus Complex Care
As a Bank HCA or Bank RMN, you’ll:
- Help transfer patients safely, including home pickups, A&E observations, Section 136 transfers, court-ordered moves, and informal transfers.
- Use calm de‑escalation or safe physical support when needed.
- Keep both vehicle and patient secure during the journey.
- Talk clearly with patients, our team, and NHS staff.
- Write down key details and report any concerns.
- Guide patients with care from start to finish.
Bank HCA specifics
- Zero‑hour, flexible shifts across days or nights in Birmingham & Stevenage.
- Pay ranges from £14.50/hr weekdays to £16.50/hr nights and weekends.
- Check vehicles before travel, assist nurses, keep records and step in to lead if it’s needed.
Bank RMN specifics
- Work on zero‑hour basis in Birmingham, Stevenage or Warrington.
- Paid between £23.50–£25.50/hr.
- Lead transfers, manage risk, support care, and follow Mental Health Act and safeguarding rules.
We work with NHS and community teams to make sure every transfer is safe and patient-focused, using NHS-standard training in de‑escalation and risk handling.
Training & career progression
At Prometheus Complex Care, we make sure you get the support you need:
- NHS-level training in de‑escalation, safe handling, first aid, safeguarding and observation.
- NVQ/CPD courses available, with mentoring on the job.
- Career opportunities to move from HCA into RMN, nursing or logistics roles as you gain experience.
Both HCA and RMN roles include mandatory training on policies, safety, safeguarding and professional standards.
We offer free on-site parking, uniforms, pension enrolment, and an Employee Assistant Programme to support our teams.
